excellent hotel!
spacious room food variety good location
the room was spacious and very clean. the breakfast had a staggering variety of foods and pastries. the location is very good with easy walking to sites, shopping, and restaurants. i would stay here again without hesitation.
the staff wasn't always readily available to help with bags upon arrival.

The hotel sits right next to the port and offers easy walking access to the pedestrian zone. The rooftop restaurant, bar, and pool area present great views. The breakfast selection was very nice. It's one of the best I have seen. Staff members at the hotel were wonderful, kind, and helpful.
The gym is quite small, and two out of four machines were not connected to power, rendering them unusable.

The breakfast offers a large variety of items and changes daily, with most items prepared in-house. The rooftop restaurant offers views during dining.. it is quite pleasant. Service is attentive in the restaurant area.

Front desk service was very friendly. They addressed all my needs promptly. The breakfast room staff greeted me warmly every morning, promptly bringing coffee. Staff helped arrange a private tour to Knossos for me.

The hotel is conveniently located near the historic harbor and pedestrian shopping area. It's an easy walk to the city center. Arriving by ferry is simple, as the hotel is within walking distance of the ferry terminal.

Acceptable, but Some Issues
excessive noise tired room
The staff were friendly. They were kind at all times. The location is in the heart of downtown. It is close to the ferry.
I booked an executive room with a sea view. I was given a room at the very back of the building. The buses and main road caused too much noise. The room was tired and needs updating.

The breakfast offered a lovely choice at the buffet. Coffee, tea and juice were served at the table. The room featured a large, high ceiling.
The hotel lacked assistance with luggage on arrival and departure. There was no doorman. Soap in the room was sufficient for only one person.
